Ashwani Sharma is a seasoned logistics professional with over 45 years of experience in cargo, freight forwarding, and supply chain management. His journey in the industry began in 1979, when he co-founded Swift Freight Moovers in New Delhi with family. From the outset, his commitment to excellence and deep industry insight positioned the company for long-term success.

Under Mr. Sharma’s visionary leadership, Swift Freight Moovers rapidly built a reputation for expertise in customs clearance, air freight, and ocean freight forwarding. The company achieved key industry milestones such as IATA accreditation and a Customs House Agent (CHA) license, marking it as a trusted and compliant logistics provider. Over more than three decades, Swift Freight Moovers became one of the most respected names in global logistics, known for its reliability, customer-centric approach, and operational integrity.

In 2014, after 35 years of successfully leading the family business, a planned generational transition was implemented. The two partners mutually agreed to an amicable division of the business. As part of this transition, Mr. Arvind Sharma took over as CEO of Swift Freight Moovers, while Mr. Ashwani Sharma launched a new chapter by founding Pole Star Cargo India Pvt. Ltd. on January 20, 2014, in New Delhi. He carried forward the same values and ethics that had defined his career.

As Managing Director of Pole Star Cargo India, Mr. Sharma brings his vast experience and strategic foresight to the forefront of the company’s growth. Under his leadership, Pole Star has steadily expanded its global reach and broadened its service offerings, while upholding the core values of service excellence, innovation, and unwavering customer trust.

Mr. Sharma’s entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond his flagship ventures. He remains actively involved in other business pursuits that reflect his passion for logistics, quality service, and ethical business leadership.
